Over the years the Bristol family has developed Weathervane Village into a world-class age-restricted, residential golf community with 149 homes. At the heart of the property is Weathervane Golf Club, which has developed into one of the best 9-hole courses in Massachusetts.

Gabe Crocker has been part of the entire 25+ year history of the project, first working on the design, permitting, and early construction phases from 1998 to 2005 while at Gale Associates. Later, as a leader at Coler & Colantonio’s Civil Group, he helped with the re-permitting for the final golf course design and construction through the Weymouth Conservation Commission.

When Gabe founded Crocker Design Group in 2018, the project made its way back to our firm, where we completed the site design and permitting for the golf course clubhouse as well as the overall project as-built and Partial Certificates of Compliance process through the Weymouth Conservation Commission.

Over the past 25 years, I have worked with dozens of engineering firms ranging in size, as well as specialty. In that time, I have come to consider Crocker Design Group as a real standout in the industry. I particularly appreciate the company’s responsiveness and competence, as well as their overall attitude and commitment to problem-solving.
