We are a multi-discipline Civil Engineering and Survey firm seeking a Civil Engineer to work on our exciting portfolio of high-end real estate development projects throughout Eastern Massachusetts! This is a full-time position. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience working for site civil consulting firms with experience with state and local permitting. New Graduate Civil Engineer
Job Description
Crocker Design Group, LLC (CDG) is hiring! We are seeking a Civil Project Engineer to join our team. This position will fill a multitude of tasks for our project teams. Project teams generally consist of a Project Manager, Project Engineer, and CAD Designer. Currently we are looking for an entry level engineer with 0-2 years of experience to assist our Project Managers and Senior Project Engineers on their projects. This role will report directly to a Project Manager who will assist in assigning tasks and work with the Project Engineer on respective projects.
Typical duties range on a week to week / day-to-day basis. The general tasks that can be expected include but are not limited to the following:
· Perform site due diligence and research
· Perform existing and proposed stormwater analysis.
· Prepare site development plans for projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D based on red line mark ups.
· Prepare conceptual design plans.
· Prepare application packages for submittals to local municipalities for approval.
· Review local ordinances and bylaws as they relate to the project design.
· Assist the Survey Team with fieldwork tasks on as needed basis.
· Assist with onsite soils analysis and percolation testing.
· Attending on site construction meetings and performing site inspections of projects during construction and preparing associated field reports.
· Assist the project team in preparing for and performing presentations for clients, approving authorities, etc.
